Engineered for demanding truck and trailer air brake systems this air brake tubing offers superior durability and flexibility. Its 100% polyamide construction is reinforced with polyester yarn providing a multi-braid structure. The tubing is black in color and features a premium abrasion resistance making it suitable for harsh environments.

With a 0.625-inch outer diameter and a wall thickness of 0.09 inches this nylon tubing delivers impressive impulse cycle life of 125 000 cycles. The product is non-conductive and exhibits a lay line style marked by ink jet. It is also UV stabilized and thermoformable offering enhanced performance over traditional rubber and nylon hoses.

Designed to meet the stringent requirements of SAE J844 J1131 and J2494-3 DOT-FMVSS 106 standards the tubing maintains its integrity within a temperature range of -65deg;F to 200deg;F. The minimum bend radius is 2.5 inches affording ease of installation even in tight spaces.

Ideal for auxiliary air systems formed tubes and straight air brake harness assemblies this tubing streamlines assembly with its easy burr-free cutting. Reinforcement material includes synthetic fiber ensuring robustness in various applications.

Will this nylon tubing hold up okay in an air brake system on a semi-truck?

This tubing is definitely designed for that. It meets SAE J844, J1131, and J2494-3 DOT-FMVSS 106 standards, which are the rules for truck and trailer air brake systems.
