Designed for high-pressure material transfer applications, the Danfoss / Eaton Plaster & Grout 2-1/2 800PSI is a 2-1/2-inch industrial hose built to handle plaster, grout, sand, gypsum, and ready-mixed concrete. The natural rubber tube and extruded synthetic rubber cover work together with high-tensile synthetic textile reinforcement and an integrated anti-static copper wire to provide structural integrity and conductivity in demanding environments.

The pin-pricked, black cover carries an ink transfer lay line and meets ASME B30.27-2014 certification. Rated for use down to -40°F, this hose is compatible with Victaulic male NPT fittings and is well suited to high-pressure spraying applications across construction and industrial material handling. The conductive construction helps manage static buildup, an important consideration when conveying dry or abrasive materials at pressure.

hose is rated down to -40°F, but what about the actual material going through it, does it handle abrasive stuff like sand and gypsum without tearing up the inside real quick?

Natural rubber tube construction holds up well against abrasive materials like sand, gypsum, and ready-mixed concrete under normal working conditions. The hose is built specifically for those applications, so it's not just a general-purpose line being repurposed for heavy material transfer. That said, abrasion resistance is listed as standard rather than heavy-duty, so if you're running extremely coarse aggregate or gritty slurries at near-maximum pressure continuously, you'll see more wear than with lighter materials. For typical plaster and grout spraying work, it should give you solid service life.

Can this hose handle pumping grout a good ways uphill on a construction site?

This hose is designed specifically for high-pressure material transfer, so pumping grout uphill shouldn't be a problem. Just be sure to stay within that 800 PSI rating.
