running this on compressor discharge lines, is it gonna hold up to that kind of heat and pressure cycling without breaking down?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 30, 2025, 7:47 AM
Compressor discharge is actually one of the listed applications for this hose, so you're in the right place. The PTFE tube construction makes it impervious to degradation, and the stainless steel braided cover adds durability where abrasion is a concern. It's built to handle vibration and impulse cycling up to 100,000 cycles, so the pressure fluctuations that come with compressor discharge work fall well within what it was made for. Just keep in mind it's not recommended for steam-to-cold water cycling, so if your system swings between steam and cold water, this wouldn't be the right fit.

running steam through this hose, is there anything it dont like doing?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 6, 2026, 12:14 PM
One important limitation is steam to cold water cycling. This hose is not recommended for that kind of back and forth temperature service, even though it is intended for steam use.
