Danfoss / Eaton Winner PTFE Reel

Description & Features

Constructed with an extruded PTFE tube and a stainless steel braided cover, the Danfoss / Eaton Winner PTFE Reel is built for demanding chemical, steam, and compressor discharge service. The PTFE core is impervious to degradation across a wide range of media, making it suitable for virtually all chemical transfer applications. Note that this hose is not recommended for steam-to-cold water cycling.

Rated to SAE 100R14A, SAE 100R14B, and SAE J517, this -4 dash size hose carries a minimum bend radius of 1.97 inches and a rated impulse cycle life of 100,000 cycles. It handles a minimum working temperature of -65°F and withstands vibration and impulse conditions. Compatible fittings include E Series, Field Attachable, FC Series, and Swage-style connections.

Question by: Gene M on Aug 25, 2025, 5:18 PM
Got a compressor discharge line that sees some pretty nasty chemical exposure on top of the heat. Would this hose hold up to both at the same time?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 26, 2025, 9:49 PM
PTFE cores handle that combination better than most hose materials out there. The tube itself is impervious to degradation across a wide range of media, so chemical exposure won't eat through it, and it's built specifically for compressor discharge service where heat and pressure are both factors. The stainless steel braid over the outside adds durability without adding a lot of bulk. Rated to SAE 100R14A, 100R14B, and SAE J517, so it meets the pressure and performance standards you'd expect for that kind of application.

got a tight spot to snake this line through, how tight can i bend the -4 hose without kinkin it?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 2, 2025, 4:12 PM
For the -4 dash size, the minimum bend radius is 1.97 inches. Staying at or above that radius helps keep the PTFE tube from getting stressed or kinked.
