Question by: Dwayne B on Mar 26, 2026, 7:12 AM
Got a setup running compressor discharge lines and been burning through hoses faster than I'd like. This a PTFE build or just coated on the outside?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 27, 2026, 8:12 AM
Straight PTFE tube all the way through, extruded construction with a braided stainless steel cover over it. That combination holds up well against the kind of chemical exposure and heat that tends to eat through standard hose builds. The stainless cover also handles abrasion and vibration, which is usually what causes early wear on discharge lines.
