The Winner by Danfoss / Eaton EN-TW Series PTFE and Teflon Hose and Tubing is engineered for harsh environments requiring resistance to chemicals steam and high temperatures. Impervious to degradation it effectively withstands vibration and impulsing.
Constructed with a durable extruded PTFE tube and stainless steel braided cover this hose offers premium abrasion resistance and non-conductive properties. It is certified to SAE 100R14B SAE 100R14A and SAE J517 standards ensuring reliable performance across demanding applications.
Ideal for compressor discharge and various chemical applications the hose operates within a wide temperature range and maintains flexural stability. With a minimum bend radius of 5 it supports precise installations where space constraints exist.
The DANFOSS / EATON WINNER PTFE 100R14 HOSE 1/2 is compatible with E series Field Attachable FC Series and Swage fittings providing flexibility in configuration options.

hose is rated for chemical service, but what about steam? runs compressor discharge lines and occasionally get steam contact on some equipment
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 12, 2026, 12:06 PM
Steam exposure is covered under the intended applications for this hose. The PTFE tube construction handles high temperatures and chemical resistance well enough to hold up in steam environments. One thing worth knowing though, the product data specifically calls out that it is not recommended for steam-cold water cycling. If your lines see repeated hot-to-cold shock from steam followed by cold water, that particular duty cycle falls outside what this hose is rated for. Straight steam contact on compressor discharge work is fine, just not that back-and-forth thermal cycling.

I need a hose that can handle some pretty nasty chemicals. Will this one do the trick?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 5, 2025, 7:55 AM
Engineered for harsh environments, this hose is designed to resist a wide range of chemicals, steam, and high temperatures. It's made with a PTFE tube and stainless steel braid, which makes it impervious to degradation from those substances.

got a tight spot to route hose. what’s the minimum bend radius on this 1/2 in PTFE line?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 18, 2025, 6:54 PM
For routing and clearance planning, the minimum bend radius is 5 inches on this -8 (1/2 inch) PTFE hose.
