The Black Hi Temperature EPDM Rubber Hardwall Wet Exhaust Hose 2.38 Inch ID Up To 68.00 PSI is designed to meet the demands of marine applications. Constructed with an extra heavy tube and cover it incorporates a wire helix between two-ply reinforcement for excellent flexibility and bend radius. This hose is black with a blue stripe enhancing its resistance to heat ozone exhaust sanitation chemicals panting and collapse.
This hose withstands a maximum continuous temperature of 250F and operates up to 68 PSI. It exceeds new SAE J2006 ABYC and NMMA standards with ISO 13363 standard pending.
Premium for longer bent connections it ensures a smooth interior surface that reduces engine back pressure improving performance. The hose is intended for both Wet Exhaust and Engine Coolant systems providing optimal absorption of engine movement vibration and noise for quieter operation.

Question by: Wes F on May 21, 2025, 1:05 PM
What's the highest temperature this hose can handle without issues?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 23, 2025, 6:51 AM
This hose is made to withstand continuous temperatures up to 250 degrees Fahrenheit.
Question by: Lee C on Sep 13, 2025, 8:48 PM
what's the max temp this hose can take before it starts breaking down? running a wet exhaust on a single engine inboard and want to make sure it holds up
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 15, 2025, 8:52 AM
Continuous operating limit on this hose is 250 degrees F. It's built from high temp EPDM rubber, so it handles the heat that comes with wet exhaust duty without degrading under normal running conditions. Just make sure it's installed far enough downstream from the water injection point so the temperature at its location stays within that rated limit.
Question by: Roger G on Oct 6, 2025, 7:38 AM
got a tight bend coming off the muffler, is this hose made for that or am i gonna fight it the whole way
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 8, 2025, 6:12 AM
For longer bent connections, it uses a wire helix between two ply reinforcement, so it holds its shape while still giving you a good bend radius and flexibility. The smooth inside also helps keep engine back pressure down compared to a rough or kinked run.
