Designed for marine wet exhaust systems, this premium hose offers high performance and durability. Constructed from high-temperature EPDM rubber, it withstands continuous temperatures up to 250°F, making it ideal for demanding environments. With a 2.75-inch inner diameter, it provides excellent flexibility and resistance to heat, aging, and chemicals. The extra heavy tube and cover, reinforced with 2 to 6 ply layers, ensure superior reliability and compliance with SAE J2006, ABYC, and NMMA standards.
Perfect for short, straight connections, this hose features a smooth interior surface to minimize engine back pressure, enhancing overall performance. Its robust design allows for maximum absorption of engine movement, vibration, and noise, ensuring a smoother and quieter operation. For optimal installation, use stainless steel clamps and ensure proper support throughout the system.

Question by: Hugh P on Jun 28, 2025, 5:08 PM
how hot does this hose actually get before it starts breaking down? running a wet exhaust setup and dont want to replace it every season
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 30, 2025, 9:44 AM
Rated for continuous use up to 250 degrees F, and it carries a 5 year warranty, so it's built to hold up in real working conditions, not just lab specs. The EPDM rubber compound is specifically formulated for heat and aging resistance, and the heavy-wall construction with 2 to 6 ply reinforcement keeps it from breaking down prematurely. As long as the hose is installed far enough downstream from the water injection point so temps stay at or below that 250 degree ceiling, you should get solid service life out of it.
