NPT threads on this one, does that mean it'll thread right into standard pipe fittings without needing adapters or anything special?

NPT is about as standard as it gets for pipe connections in the U.S., so yeah, it should thread directly into existing NPT-tapped ports without needing adapters. That's kind of the whole point of going with NPT over proprietary fittings. Just make sure your port sizes match up before you commit.
