Product Questions & Answers (1)

Question by: Peggy F on Aug 5, 2025, 3:41 PM
Got a system that sees some pretty nasty surge pressure spikes on a regular basis. Would this hose hold up to that kind of punishment long term?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 7, 2025, 1:45 PM
Four-spiral wire reinforcement is built specifically for conditions like that. The FC254-08 is rated for 7700 PSI working pressure and is engineered to handle high surge peaks without breaking down prematurely. That construction is what separates it from lower-tier two-braid hoses that start fatiguing under repeated pressure spikes. For heavy-cycle hydraulic systems running rough, this is one of the better fits you can put in.
