The Eaton Aeroquip FC355 Series hose is suitable for air, gasoline, fuel, lubricating oils, and coolant applications. Constructed with a 2-ply braid and an AQP inner tube, this conductive blue hose features a highly abrasion resistant elastomer cover for durability.

This Aeroquip hose meets DOT FMVSS 106 Type AII and SAE J1402 certifications and ABS compliances, offering proven reliability with high temperature resistance. Compatible with 100R5 Reusable qualified hose fittings, its minimum bend radius is 1.75 inches, and it withstands temperatures as low as -40 degrees. The reinforcement material consists of polyester and wire.

hose says it works for gasoline and fuel both, is that the same thing or does it cover different fuel types like diesel too?

Fuel and gasoline are listed separately in the application spec, so the hose is rated to handle multiple fuel types under that umbrella, not just one. The FC355 is cleared for air, gasoline, fuel, lubricating oils, and coolants, so diesel and similar petroleum-based fuels fall within that range. The AQP inner tube is what makes that possible since it holds up against fuel contact without degrading the way standard rubber does.

got a tight spot to route it, how sharp can this FC355-08 hose bend without kinking

For routing, the published minimum bend radius is 1.75 inches. Staying at or above that bend radius helps keep the hose from being forced past its intended bend limit.
