Product Questions & Answers (2)

Question by: Merle W on May 19, 2025, 9:47 AM
what exactly is the FC425-38 used for, is it just for hoses or can it go on tubing too?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 20, 2025, 3:39 PM
Both hoses and tubing are covered with this one. The FC425-38 is an Aeroquip coil protector from Danfoss Power Solutions, and it fits over hose or tubing assemblies to guard against abrasion, rubbing, and general wear in the field. If you've got lines that run close to each other or near a frame or edge, wrapping them with this kind of protection keeps the outer jacket from breaking down over time.
Question by: Tony S on Oct 20, 2025, 1:30 PM
These FC425-38 protectors, do they need any special tools or extra hardware to get em on the hose, or is it pretty much just slide and go?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 21, 2025, 1:47 PM
No additional hardware is required for installation. There's no mandrel, no calibration step, and no mounting configuration to worry about. You just apply them directly to your hose or tubing without any special prep work involved.
