CORDOVA SLEEVING

Description & Features

Manufactured by Aeroquip, Cordova Sleeving is a protective covering designed for use with hydraulic hose assemblies in industrial environments. This sleeving provides a layer of abrasion resistance and mechanical protection for hose runs exposed to wear, chafing, or contact with adjacent components.

Sourced directly from Eaton Aeroquip, this product is suited for applications where hose protection is required without modifying the hose assembly itself. The Aeroquip brand designation reflects consistent manufacturing standards expected in hydraulic and fluid conveyance systems.

got a hose run that keeps rubbing on a bracket, is this Cordova sleeving the kind of thing you slide over it to keep it from getting chewed up?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 31, 2026, 7:40 PM
For hose runs that see chafing or contact with nearby components, Cordova Sleeving adds a protective layer around the hydraulic hose assembly to help with abrasion and general mechanical wear in industrial environments.
Question by: Earl G on May 25, 2025, 4:16 PM
What exactly is this Cordova sleeving meant to do for a hose assembly? Trying to figure out if it's worth adding to a run that keeps getting chewed up where it contacts the frame.
Answer by: Customer Support on May 27, 2025, 6:45 AM
Abrasion and chafing are exactly what it's built to handle. When hose runs sit close to frame rails, brackets, or other components and start wearing from contact, sleeving like this goes over the outside of the assembly and takes the abuse instead of the hose itself. It doesn't change anything about the hose or the fittings underneath, just wraps around and protects what's already there.
Question by: Carl R on Jan 11, 2026, 2:45 PM
What’s the operating temperature range for this sleeving? I need to make sure it can handle the heat near the engine.
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 13, 2026, 6:11 AM
Designed to protect hydraulic hoses, this sleeving offers abrasion resistance and mechanical protection where hoses are exposed to wear. Note that specific temperature ratings are not provided, so ensure compatibility with your operating environment.
