This hydraulic flow control valve is designed to offer exceptional precision in fluid management. The innovative design ensures that fluid travels past a variable orifice through the compensator spool and out the controlled flow port maintaining a constant flow while adjusting for pressure. The sum of the controlled flow and excess flow matches the inlet flow.
The precision ground chrome plated spool ensures longevity while the diamond honed spool bore provides a consistent fit with minimal leakage. The body is crafted from cast iron and the heat-treated spools come with Buna-N O-Rings as standard. Factory testing guarantees shutoff linearity maximum flow and pressure compensation.
This product is suitable for applications requiring a full range pressure compensating variable flow control. By plugging the excess flow port it can also function as a 2-port flow control. Optimal results are achieved when flow is limited to about 50% of the valve's rated capacity.
Features include a maximum operating pressure of 3000 PSI and recommended filtration at 30 microns. This versatility makes it an excellent choice for sophisticated hydraulic systems seeking reliable performance.

Question by: Harold W on Aug 17, 2025, 12:55 PM
running this on a loader with a variable displacement pump, any chance it'll hunt or surge at the CF port?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 18, 2025, 9:14 PM
Compensated pumps and priority flow valves can absolutely fight each other if there's nothing to settle the spool movement. Brand Hydraulics built a dashpot into the compensator spool on this one specifically to dampen that hunting. So pairing it with a variable displacement pump is a known use case and the valve accounts for it.
