FC51 Series 3-Port Pressure Compensated Priority Flow Control Valve 0-30 GPM Flow Range

Manufactured by Brand Hydraulics Inc. this valve features a cast iron body and heat-treated steel spools for durability. The valve ensures consistent spool fit with low leakage thanks to a diamond-honed spool bore.

The device operates with a maximum pressure of 3000 PSI and includes Buna-N O-Rings as standard. Both outlets are pressure compensated by a spool maintaining constant flow while adjusting for pressure variations.

Fluid flows past a variable orifice through the compensator spool then exits the controlled flow port. The sum of controlled and excess flow equals the inlet flow. A dashpot on the compensator spool dampens hunting between a compensated pump and the valve. This product can function as a 2-port flow control by plugging the excess flow port with optimal performance achieved at 50% of the valve's rated flow.

A precision ground chrome-plated spool ensures long life and every valve undergoes factory testing for shutoff linearity maximum flow and pressure compensation.
