Reckon this hose could handle some heat in the engine compartment, or is it more for cooler spots?

This Aeroquip hose is rated down to -40 degrees, so extreme cold isn't a problem. However, the specs don't list a maximum temperature, so it's best to keep it away from direct engine heat.
