Description & Features

Designed for low pressure return line service in hydraulic systems, this -8 dash size hose from Aeroquip's FC598 Series is built around a single-ply polyester braid reinforcement over an AQP inner tube, with a black elastomer cover rated for temperatures as low as -40°F. The construction meets SAE 100R6 certification and supports a minimum bend radius of 4 inches, making it well suited for routing in confined or tight-clearance installations.

The Aeroquip Hose carries a conductive designation and is compatible with OTC and skive nipple fittings. An inkjet lay line runs the length of the hose for easy identification and orientation during assembly. The elastomer cover provides standard abrasion resistance, and the overall assembly is engineered to hold up under the demanding conditions typical of industrial hydraulic return circuits.
