Question by: Ray E on May 22, 2025, 9:38 PM
Need a hose for gasoline and a little air and water service too, is this Aeroquip FC647 the right kind or is it more of a hydraulic hose
Answer by: Customer Support on May 24, 2025, 6:56 AM
For gasoline fuel and lubricating oils, plus air and water service, the FC647 socketless low pressure hose fits that kind of job. It is not recommended for hydraulic impulse applications and it is not approved for air brake use.
Question by: Howard S on Aug 12, 2025, 9:11 AM
got a fuel line job coming up and wondering if this hose handles gasoline or just diesel and oil
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 13, 2025, 11:23 AM
Gasoline is actually one of the primary fluids this hose is rated for, along with lubricating oils, air, and water. The nitrile tube material holds up well against fuel exposure, so you're good to go on a gasoline application. Just keep in mind it's not cleared for hydraulic impulse work or air brake systems, so those would need a different hose.
