I'm looking for a fitting that can handle some serious corrosion. Will this Aeroquip fitting hold up?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 27, 2025, 6:46 PM
Dura-Kote plating gives this Aeroquip fitting superior corrosion resistance, so it should last even in harsh environments.
Question by: Janice K on Oct 1, 2025, 6:02 AM
What kind of corrosion protection does this fitting have, and is it gonna hold up in a wet or dirty environment?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 2, 2025, 8:12 PM
Dura-Kote plating is applied to the exterior, which gives it solid corrosion resistance even when conditions get rough. Carbon steel is the base material, so the plating is doing real work there to keep rust and degradation from shortening the life of the fitting. For environments with moisture, grime, or general exposure, that combination is what makes this fitting hold up longer than an uncoated alternative.
