AEROQUIP 3/4 4000 PSI BRUISER

Description & Features

Designed for high-abrasion industrial and hydraulic system applications, the Aeroquip 3/4 4000 PSI Bruiser is a 4-spiral rubber hose built to perform under sustained high-pressure and demanding duty cycles. Its synthetic rubber tube handles petroleum and water-based fluids, while the Bruiser cover material provides exceptional resistance to abrasion and physical damage in rugged field environments.

Rated for 500,000 impulse cycles with a minimum bend radius of 9.45 inches and a minimum working temperature of -40°F, this hose is well-suited to critical circuits in construction, forestry, and off-highway equipment. Wire spiral reinforcement supports robust structural integrity across the full pressure range. Compatible with 4S, 1A-12, Spiral Single Skive, and 100R5 Reusable fittings, it integrates readily into existing assemblies. The hose carries SAE 100R12, EN856 4SP, and EN856 Type R12 certifications, and meets MSHA, ABS, and DNV compliance requirements. Conductivity is built in, and the lay line uses ink transfer for clear, durable identification.

Product Questions & Answers (5)

Question by: Randy A on Oct 3, 2025, 6:39 PM
What kind of applications is this hose good for?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 5, 2025, 6:59 AM
It’s recommended for high abrasion industrial and hydraulic systems, particularly those using petroleum or water-based fluids. You'll often see it on heavy equipment like construction and forestry vehicles.
Question by: Vince T on Nov 20, 2025, 2:23 PM
got a tight spot to route it through, what’s the minimum bend radius on this 3/4 bruiser hose?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 22, 2025, 6:20 AM
For routing and clearance, the minimum bend radius is 9.45 inches.
Question by: Harold C on Jul 27, 2025, 11:43 AM
does this hose hold up in forestry equipment? we run skidders pretty hard and been burning through hoses faster than we'd like
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 29, 2025, 6:07 AM
Four-spiral wire reinforcement and a Bruiser cover make this hose built for exactly that kind of punishment. The cover material is specifically rated for high abrasion conditions, which is where skidder work tends to chew through standard hoses the quickest. It's rated to 4000 PSI working pressure and carries a 500,000 impulse cycle life, so it's engineered to outlast lighter-duty options in heavy off-highway use. Forestry is actually one of the listed application categories for this hose.
Question by: Howard G on Sep 3, 2025, 6:35 AM
got a skid steer hose that keeps gettin rubbed up. is this bruiser cover actually meant for that kind of abuse?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 5, 2025, 6:19 AM
For high abrasion industrial and hydraulic systems, the Bruiser cover is built specifically for harsh operating conditions where hoses see a lot of rubbing and wear. It is also called out for critical use on construction, forestry, and other off highway equipment.
Question by: Stan A on Jun 21, 2025, 9:20 AM
Running a skidder in the timber and need something that can take a beating on the high-pressure lines. This hose rated for that kind of work?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 23, 2025, 6:15 AM
Four-spiral wire reinforcement and a 4000 PSI working pressure rating put this hose in solid shape for forestry equipment. The Bruiser cover is built specifically for high-abrasion environments, so dragging across debris, bark, and rough surfaces is exactly what it was made for. It also carries an impulse cycle life rating of 500,000 cycles, which holds up well under the repeated pressure surges a skidder sees during a full day of work.
