Running this on a forestry machine that sees a whole lot of abuse. Four-spiral construction hold up to that kind of environment, or is that more of a marketing thing?

Four-spiral wire reinforcement is genuinely built for that kind of punishment. The FC736 carries a 4000 PSI working pressure rating and has been tested to 500,000 impulse cycles, which puts it well above what most standard two-braid hoses can handle. The Bruiser cover adds a layer of abrasion resistance on top of that, so contact with equipment framing, bark, debris, whatever gets thrown at it is less likely to chew through the outer jacket and compromise the hose underneath. For forestry and off-highway work specifically, this is one of the configurations the hose is rated and listed for.

Running a forestry machine hard in some pretty rough conditions. Will this hose hold up to the abrasion, or am I gonna be replacing it every season?
