A male swivel fitting designed for refrigeration hose assemblies, the Aeroquip REFRIG FIT 6 M Swivel (FC7646 Series) is constructed from carbon steel and built to perform across a wide range of industrial fluid handling applications. The fitting features a 3/8 in. MPT male threaded end with a 0.625 in. end size and connects to a -6 dash size hose on the line side, with a hex size of 0.81 in. for standard wrench engagement.

Will this fitting work okay for connecting refrigeration lines in my AC unit?

This Aeroquip fitting is designed specifically for refrigeration hose assemblies, so it should work well in your AC unit as long as the hose size is -6 and the thread size is 3/8 in. MPT.
