Description & Features

Designed for air conditioning and refrigeration applications in bus and rail systems, this -12 dash size hose is built to SAE J2064 certification and compatible with multiple refrigerants, including R1234yf. The Aeroquip Multi / Refrig Hose features a chloroprene tube, EPDM cover, and single-ply wire braid reinforcement, with a conductive construction suited to demanding mobile HVAC environments.

Rated for a minimum working temperature of -40°C and a minimum bend radius of 3 inches, the hose supports up to 150,000 impulse cycles. The R1234yf effusion rate is 0.5 kg/m²/yr at 80°C. Compatible qualified fittings include the EJ5305, EJ5361, EJ5362, EJ5306, EJ5359, EJ5360, GA25126, GA25127, and GA25128 series, as well as factory-crimped options.

got a bus AC job and need -12 hose. is this one actually meant for that kind of setup?

Running a fleet of transit buses and need to know if this hose'll hold up to R1234yf refrigerant. That stuff's been giving us fits with older hoses.
