This Eaton Aeroquip MULTI / REFRIG Hose is designed for air conditioning and refrigeration applications, including bus and rail AC systems. Compatible with multiple refrigerants, it ensures peak performance and uptime.

The hose features a black EPDM cover for abrasion resistance and a conductive chloroprene tube. It is constructed with a 1 Ply Braid reinforcement and meets SAE J2064 standards. The Aeroquip MULTI / REFRIG Hose has an R1234yf effusion rate of 0.5 kg/m²/yr at 80°C and withstands an impulse cycle life of 150,000 cycles. It has a minimum bend radius of 4 inches and can operate in temperatures as low as -40 degrees.

got a bus AC line to redo, is this hose actually meant for that kind of work

hose is rated down to -40 degrees, but what's the highest temp it can handle during normal AC operation, and does the cover hold up to engine bay heat?
