A carbon steel nipple assembly designed for hydraulic hose termination, the Danfoss / Eaton CS #5 FJ X #5 TEF. HS pairs a SAE 37° flare female end with a -5 dash size hose end in a compact, field-proven configuration. The female JIC end connects to standard SAE 37° fittings, while the hose end accommodates -5 hose assemblies with a 0.5-inch hex for wrench engagement.

Part of the Aeroquip FC8779 Series, this fitting is manufactured from carbon steel and finished with Dura-Kote plating, which provides corrosion resistance suited to demanding hydraulic environments. The design is system-engineered to support extended hose assembly service life and reduce unplanned downtime. At 0.05 lb, it is a lightweight component well-suited to mobile and stationary hydraulic circuit assembly work.
