FCR51 Series 3-Port Pressure Compensated Priority Flow Control Valve With Relief

Designed for precision hydraulic flow control the FCR-51 full range pressure compensating variable flow control ensures consistent performance with its chrome plated spool and diamond honed spool bore. This 3-port valve effectively maintains a constant flow while adjusting for pressure changes.

Fluid efficiently flows past the variable orifice through the compensator spool and out the controlled flow port. As pressure at the CF port rises beyond the relief setting the relief valve diverts flow to the EX port while sustaining CF port pressure. The EX port must be connected back to the tank for optimal functionality.

Constructed with a durable cast iron body and heat-treated spools this valve operates within a flow range of 0-16 GPM and features a maximum operating pressure of 3000 PSI. Additionally it includes Buna-N O-rings as a standard feature and recommends 30-micron filtration for optimal use.

The sum of controlled and excess flow equates to the inlet flow where an increase in controlled flow results in a decrease in excess flow. The FCR-51 series is tested meticulously for shutoff linearity maximum flow and pressure compensation to ensure reliable performance in industrial applications.
