Danfoss / Eaton HYD TOOL COUP M Half

Description & Features

Rated for 10,000 psi hydraulic applications, this carbon steel male half coupling is built for hydraulic tool, ram, and work loading use where reliable high-pressure connections are required. The Danfoss / Eaton Hyd Tool Coup M Half belongs to the Hansen FD35 Series and features a push-to-connect interface paired with a 3/8" NPTF female port, making field connection straightforward without the need for special tools.

A ball lock internal mechanism and sleeve lock safety system work together to maintain a secure connection under demanding conditions. FKM seals support a minimum working temperature of -30°F, and the coupling exceeds ISO 16028 operating pressure requirements. Flow rate is rated at 2 gallons per minute, suitable for the targeted tool and ram applications this series is designed to serve.

Question by: Merle M on Oct 19, 2025, 3:52 PM
push-to-connect on something rated to 10,000 psi, how's that staying locked in under that kind of pressure?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 21, 2025, 6:16 AM
Ball lock internals handle the primary connection hold, and on top of that there's a sleeve lock safety mechanism that keeps everything from backing out under load. Both systems work together, so you're not relying on just one point of retention at full pressure. The coupling also exceeds ISO 16028 operating pressure requirements, which is the relevant standard for this class of hydraulic quick disconnects.

reckon this'll hold up alright for hooking up to my hydraulic ram on the farm equipment?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 5, 2025, 11:47 AM
It’s rated for 10,000 psi hydraulic applications, so it should be plenty strong enough for hydraulic ram and work loading uses. It's built with a ball lock internal connection, plus a sleeve lock safety, so the connection ought to stay put even under high demand.
