The Eaton Aeroquip FD69 Series Female Steel Coupling is designed for quick connect and disconnect applications, eliminating the need for special tools. Constructed from carbon steel with a Buna-N seal, this female half coupling features a sleeve lock safety mechanism and a straight-thru valve type.

This FD69 Series Female Steel Coupling is suitable for high-pressure water blast applications, bridge and concrete repair, paint stripping, and shipyards. It offers a flow rate of 45 gallons per minute and is designed with a ball lock internal connection. The coupling operates effectively in temperatures as low as -40 degrees. It has a 0.5 inch NPT female connection on both ends and exceeds ISO 16028 operating pressures.

trying to match up fittings here, are both ends on this coupling 1/2 inch female NPT?

It has 0.5 inch NPT female threads on both ends, so you are dealing with female NPT connections on each side.
