DANFOSS / EATON COUPLINGS - CODE CP

Description & Features

Designed for hydraulic and fluid transfer applications, this carbon steel male half quick disconnect coupling handles flow rates up to 50 gallons per minute and is rated for use in demanding environments including mining equipment. The thread-to-connect end configuration pairs with an SAE ORB port, and the 1 5/16-inch port size suits mid-to-large hydraulic line connections.

The Danfoss / Eaton Couplings - Code Cp is part of the Hansen FD86 Series and features a two-way valve design with Buna-N seals, supporting a minimum operating temperature of -40°F. No special tools are required for connection or disconnection, and the coupling exceeds ISO 16028 operating pressure standards.

Manufactured under the Eaton Aeroquip brand, this coupling is a reliable choice for high-flow hydraulic circuits where quick disconnects must perform consistently under pressure.

Product Questions & Answers (2)

Question by: Joyce B on Jul 9, 2025, 1:56 PM
What kind of setups does this quick disconnect work for? I'm using SAE orb now.
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 11, 2025, 8:04 AM
This Eaton Aeroquip coupling is made for hydraulic and fluid transfer applications, and it's rated for use with mining equipment too. The thread-to-connect end is meant to pair with an SAE ORB port, so it sounds like it should be a good fit for your current setup.
Question by: Harvey H on Apr 2, 2026, 9:45 AM
Does this coupling work down to -40 degrees, or is that just a minimum storage temp? Got equipment running outside through some pretty rough winters.
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 4, 2026, 6:50 AM
That -40°F rating is the minimum operating temperature, not just storage. So it holds up in actual working conditions at that extreme cold, which makes it a solid fit for outdoor equipment that stays in service through hard winters.
