what's the locking setup on this coupling, and does it need any tools to hook up or pull apart?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 3, 2025, 6:18 PM
Ball lock internals handle the connection hold, and a sleeve lock adds a secondary safety layer so it won't back off under pressure or vibration. No tools needed at any point, either connecting or disconnecting. That's one of the main reasons this style gets used for diagnostic pressure testing work, where techs are swapping lines in and out regularly.

What kinda pressure can this handle for testing my hydraulics?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 21, 2025, 2:03 PM
This Eaton Aeroquip coupling is designed to exceed ISO 16028 operating pressures, which should give you confidence in its reliability for diagnostic pressure testing.

got a diagnostic pressure test point setup already. is this the male half that snaps on quick, or am i looking at the wrong piece
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 1, 2025, 5:56 PM
For diagnostic pressure testing, this is the male half of a quick disconnect coupling with a push to connect end. It uses a ball lock internal connection and has a sleeve lock safety mechanism to help keep it from coming loose.
