FD90 Series Pressure Sensing Coupling, Danfoss / Eaton Hansen and Gromelle FD90 Series Quick Disconnect Couplings Plug, 1/4-18

Description & Features

The Danfoss / Eaton Hansen FD90 Series Quick Disconnect Couplings Plug is designed for diagnostic pressure testing in hydraulic systems. This coupling features an automatic sleeve for one-hand push-to-connect operation, ensuring ease of use in various applications. The self-sealing valve design allows for secure connection and disconnection at pressures up to 500 psi.

MPN: FD90-1034-04-04

Supplier Part Number: FD90-1034-04-04

Flush face valving minimizes fluid loss and air inclusion, with capabilities of handling a maximum of 0.10 cubic centimeters fluid loss and 0.02 cubic centimeters air inclusion. The coupling's broad range of end configurations enhances system accessibility. Standard seal material is Buna-N, and the body is made from zinc-plated steel for durability. Operating effectively in temperatures as low as -40 degrees Celsius, this product also features a sleeve lock safety locking mechanism. The coupling supports male push-to-connect end type and female NPTF thread for reliable connectivity. UNSPSC: 40183100.

got a pressure test port setup, is this the kind of quick disconnect plug you’d use for diagnostic pressure checks
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 23, 2025, 4:51 PM
For diagnostic pressure testing on hydraulic systems, the FD90 series plug is made for that job. It is a 2 way, pressure sensing style quick disconnect with flush face valving to keep fluid loss low and air inclusion down during hook up and disconnect.
Question by: Ricky M on Feb 7, 2026, 9:09 AM
push-to-connect means i dont need tools to hook this up, right? just push it in and the sleeve locks it?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 8, 2026, 9:15 PM
Correct on both counts. The automatic sleeve handles the locking action as you push the plug in, so no tools or extra steps are involved. One hand is all it takes to make the connection. The sleeve lock keeps it secure once seated, and the same sleeve action releases it when you're ready to disconnect.
Question by: Earl S on Sep 16, 2025, 4:32 PM
So, this thing is for checking the pressure on my hydraulics, right? Just wanna make sure I'm understanding that part.
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 18, 2025, 6:28 AM
Yes, its primary application is diagnostic pressure testing for hydraulic systems. It gives you a quick and easy way to check the pressure without a lot of fuss.
Question by: Gene B on Jun 10, 2025, 6:15 AM
Can this coupling handle being connected and disconnected while the system still has pressure on it?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 11, 2025, 2:12 PM
Up to 500 psi, yes. The self-sealing valve design on the FD90 Series is built specifically to allow connection and disconnection under pressure, so you don't have to bleed the system down every time you need to hook up a diagnostic test point. That's a real time saver when you're doing routine pressure checks on active equipment.
