got a hydraulic line running 1-14 ORFS on one end and JIC 37 flare fittings on the other, will this adapter bridge those two without needing extra pieces in between?

That's exactly what it's built for. One end is a 1-14 female O-ring face seal, the other is a 7/8-14 male JIC 37-degree flare, all in a single straight body. No extra unions or couplings needed. The ORFS side gives you a solid sealing surface using an O-ring, and the JIC flare end threads directly into a standard male JIC port. Brennan Industries machines these to tight tolerances, so the fit tends to be clean right out of the bag.

Reckon this adapter will hold up alright in a hydraulic setup running around 3000 PSI?
