The FF Series Flush Face Hydraulic Tool Quick Disconnect, Female Half, -06 Coupling, 1/2-14 NPT Female Threads by Danfoss Power Solutions (II LLC Aeroquip) is designed for hydraulic and fluid transfer applications, including construction, agricultural, and utility vehicles. The coupling size is -06 with a push-to-connect mechanism, and female 1/2-14 NPT threads ensure secure and quick connections.
With minimal fluid loss and air inclusion, this coupling guarantees efficient and reliable performance. The NBR+AU seal material ensures durability and operates effectively between -13deg;F and +212deg;F. The safety sleeve lock mechanism enhances security by preventing accidental disconnections.
Globally accepted, the interface meets ISO 16028 standards and HTMA requirements. This 2-way valve type coupling is easily cleaned due to its dual flush face valves.

hate making a mess every time I swap attachments. does this fitting leak a bunch when you unhook it

Minimal fluid loss is one of the main benefits of these dual flush face valves. You only lose about 0.01 cubic centimeters of fluid during a disconnect so it keeps the ground clean. The flat faces are also very easy to wipe off before you push them back together.
Question by: Norm J on Dec 26, 2025, 3:27 PM
Safety sleeve on this one, does it actually hold up to accidental kicks and bumps, or is it more of a light-duty latch situation?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 28, 2025, 12:11 PM
The sleeve lock on this coupling is built to guard against unintended disconnections, not just light contact. It requires a deliberate action to release, so a bump or a boot catching the line isn't going to pop it loose. That said, it works as a mechanical safety feature on the coupling itself, not a substitute for proper line management on the equipment. For construction rigs, ag equipment, and utility vehicles running hydraulic tools, it holds its own in those kinds of environments without being finicky to operate intentionally.

got a -06 line already, will this female half match up with the common flat-face style couplers?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 5, 2025, 9:47 AM
For a -06 size, it uses the ISO 16028 flush face interface, so it is meant to interchange with other ISO 16028 flat face couplings in that size. It is also noted as meeting HTMA requirements.

Will this quick disconnect work on my tractor?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 23, 2026, 10:36 AM
This flush face coupling is designed for hydraulic and fluid transfer applications, common on construction, agricultural, and utility vehicles. It’s also interchangeable with HTMA couplings in the 3/8” size.
