Description & Features

This Eaton Aeroquip 90° elbow adapter is constructed of carbon steel with Dura-Kote plating for superior corrosion resistance. The DANFOSS / EATON ORS ADPT features design flexibility and higher operating pressures above SAE standards.

This ORS male to SAE ORB male adapter is suitable for use in marine/military, chemical processing, pulp and paper, and food and beverage processing applications, as well as off-shore drilling. It has a minimum working temperature of -65 degrees. End 1 is ORS male with a 1 1/8-12 thread size; End 2 is SAE ORB male with a 3/4-16 thread size.

What kind of corrosion protection does this adapter have? Running equipment near saltwater and rust is always a fight.

Carbon steel with Dura-Kote plating is what you're getting here. That coating is specifically built to hold up against corrosion, which is part of why this adapter is rated for marine and offshore drilling environments. Saltwater exposure is well within the scope of what this thing was made to handle.
