90° ORS/SAE O-Ring Boss

Description & Features

Designed for 90-degree routing in hydraulic systems, this carbon steel elbow adapter connects an ORS male end to an SAE ORB male end, making it well suited for installations where a straight fitting won't accommodate line direction changes. The 90° ORS/SAE O-Ring Boss is part of Eaton Aeroquip's FF1868T Series and meets SAE J1453 certification standards.

The adapter features Dura-Kote plating, which provides corrosion resistance beyond standard finishes. It is rated for operating pressures above SAE standards, making it appropriate for demanding hydraulic circuit applications. With a product width of 2.59 inches and a drop dimension of 2.59 inches, it fits within typical space constraints for elbow configurations. Eaton Aeroquip offers this fitting across a wide range of styles and sizes, providing design flexibility when specifying hydraulic line connections.

Question by: Roy H on May 7, 2025, 2:12 PM
Will this here fitting hold up to high pressure in a hydraulic setup?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 8, 2025, 2:15 PM
This adapter is rated to handle operating pressures exceeding SAE standards, making it suitable for demanding hydraulic applications.
Question by: Tammy M on Dec 7, 2025, 5:31 PM
Does this fitting hold up decent in systems running higher pressures, or is it more of a standard-duty part?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 9, 2025, 7:00 AM
Rated above SAE pressure standards, this elbow adapter is built for demanding hydraulic circuits rather than light-duty work. The carbon steel construction and Dura-Kote plating both contribute to that durability, with the plating adding corrosion resistance that goes beyond what you get from typical finishes. For installations where pressure is a real concern, it holds its own.
Question by: Dwayne W on Jun 12, 2025, 6:27 PM
tight spot on a hose run, would this elbow let me turn 90 degrees without fighting a straight fitting?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 14, 2025, 3:57 PM
For cramped routing, it gives you a 90 degree change in direction by connecting an ORS male end to an SAE ORB male end, so you can make the turn where a straight adapter will not.
