DANFOSS / EATON ADPTRS ORS 45 ELBO

Description & Features

Designed for demanding industrial environments, the Danfoss / Eaton Adptrs ORS 45 Elbo is an ORS male-to-ORS male 45° elbow adapter machined from carbon steel and finished with Dura-Kote plating for strong resistance to corrosion. The 45° elbow configuration provides routing flexibility in space-constrained hydraulic assemblies, and the adapter is rated to operate above standard SAE pressure thresholds in accordance with SAE 520801 certification.

Suitable across a broad range of demanding sectors, including marine, military, chemical processing, pulp and paper, food and beverage processing, and off-shore drilling, this adapter is built to perform at temperatures as low as -65°F. With a hex size of 1.75 inches and a package weight of 0.8 lb, it fits within the Eaton Aeroquip line, which offers hundreds of adapter styles to accommodate varied hydraulic circuit configurations.

Reckon this elbow fitting will hold up in a marine environment? Saltwater can be brutal on some metals.
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 22, 2025, 4:32 PM
Dura-Kote plating provides strong corrosion resistance, making this adapter suitable for marine applications.

got a tight spot on a hydraulic run, does this 45 elbow let me turn the line without kinkin things up?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 18, 2025, 7:52 PM
For tight routing, the 45 degree elbow shape gives you a cleaner turn than trying to force a straight adapter, and it keeps both ends as ORS male to ORS male for a simple inline change in direction.
Question by: Dwight H on Jan 9, 2026, 8:31 PM
Been running some tight hydraulic lines on a marine setup and space is real limited around a few of the fittings. Does a 45-degree elbow like this actually give you enough of an angle to reroute without havin to redesign the whole run?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 11, 2026, 6:35 AM
For tight spots where a straight adapter just won't clear the surrounding hardware, a 45-degree configuration gives you a meaningful change in direction without the sharp turn you'd get from a 90. On a marine assembly where you're working around bulkheads, frames, or close-mounted components, that angle buys you real routing flexibility. Both ends are ORS male, so you're connecting into ORS female ports on each side of the line. The hex size is 1.75 inches, which gives you a solid wrench surface for getting proper torque in cramped quarters. It's not going to solve every tight layout problem, but for moderate rerouting needs in a confined run, this is the kind of fitting that earns its place.
