Question by: Glen B on Jun 13, 2025, 7:35 AM
got a hose setup with a 9/16 ORB on one side and need to land it into a 3/8 female STC. is that what this adapter is for?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 14, 2025, 12:38 PM
For tying those two ends together, it is a straight adapter with a 9/16 inch male SAE ORB on one side and a 3/8 inch female STC on the other, meant for a secure hydraulic line connection.
Question by: Ray G on Sep 11, 2025, 8:10 AM
Will this fitting hold up in a hydraulic system that sees some pretty cold weather?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 12, 2025, 3:39 PM
This fitting has a minimum working temperature of -40°F, making it suitable for cold-climate and industrial applications.
Question by: Rod C on Sep 25, 2025, 7:09 PM
What exactly is the connection setup on this fitting? Got a 9/16 male end on one side and trying to figure out what the other side hooks up to.
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 27, 2025, 4:14 PM
One end is a 9/16" Male SAE O-Ring Boss, and the other is a 3/8" Female STC. The SAE ORB side threads into a port and seals with an o-ring rather than relying on thread sealant. The STC end accepts a matching female push-to-connect or swaged fitting on the hose side. It's a straight adapter, so there's no angle or offset built in.
