Designed for demanding hydraulic installations, this carbon steel 90° elbow adapter connects a SAE Code 61 split flange end (1/2 in.) to a SAE 37° male flare end (3/4 in.), making it well-suited for applications where directional routing is required in tight or angular configurations. The Danfoss / Eaton Adpt 61 Flange 90 Elbow is part of Eaton Aeroquip's FF5162 Series and is built to perform at operating pressures that exceed standard SAE thresholds.
Dura-Kote plating provides strong corrosion resistance, extending service life in harsh or moisture-prone environments. Certified to SAE J514, this adapter sees use across marine and military, chemical processing, food and beverage processing, pulp and paper, and offshore drilling industries. A minimum working temperature of -65°F supports use in cold-climate and specialty industrial environments. With hundreds of available styles in this product family, sourcing compatible configurations for complex hydraulic assemblies is straightforward.

Question by: Brett H on Nov 30, 2025, 6:20 AM
Reckon this elbow fitting would hold up okay in a chemical plant environment?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 2, 2025, 6:34 AM
Dura-Kote plating provides excellent corrosion resistance, which makes this 90° elbow adapter suitable for chemical processing applications.
Question by: Floyd A on Nov 16, 2025, 11:52 AM
we run a pulp and paper setup and corrosion's been eating through our fittings somethin awful, does this one hold up any better than standard plated adapters?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 18, 2025, 6:47 AM
Dura-Kote plating is what sets this apart from basic zinc or standard phosphate finishes. It's built specifically to resist corrosion in wet and harsh environments, which makes it a solid fit for pulp and paper use where moisture and chemical exposure are pretty constant. Carbon steel underneath gives it good structural integrity, so you're not just getting a surface treatment on a soft base. A lot of shops in corrosive-duty environments see noticeably longer service life with this kind of plating compared to plain steel or light-coat alternatives.
Question by: Terry H on Oct 9, 2025, 5:09 PM
trying to route a line around a bracket, what ends does this 90 elbow actually have?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 11, 2025, 6:55 AM
On the flange side, it is a SAE Code 61 split flange in 1/2 in. The other end is a SAE 37 degree male flare in 3/4 in., so it lets you turn the line 90 degrees while transitioning between those two connection styles.
