Does this adapter hold up in saltwater or offshore conditions, or is it gonna corrode out on me pretty quick?

Carbon steel fittings can be a concern in marine and offshore environments, but the Dura-Kote plating on this one is specifically there to handle that. Eaton Aeroquip lists offshore drilling and marine/military as direct application categories for this adapter, so it's built with those conditions in mind. The corrosion resistance from that plating is meant to extend service life well beyond what you'd get from an uncoated steel fitting in the same environment.
