What kinda environments is this elbow adapter good for?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 12, 2025, 11:13 AM
This adapter is well-suited for demanding applications like marine, military, chemical processing, pulp and paper, food and beverage, and even offshore drilling.
Question by: Hugh P on Oct 21, 2025, 5:00 PM
Been running this on a marine setup and curious if the corrosion protection on it is gonna hold up long-term or if we're looking at something that needs regular attention?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 22, 2025, 9:01 PM
Dura-Kote plating is what gives this adapter its edge in harsh environments. It's a purpose-built corrosion-resistant finish that goes beyond standard coatings, which is exactly why it gets spec'd into marine and offshore drilling applications where moisture and chemical exposure are constant. Under normal operating conditions, you shouldn't be chasing corrosion issues the way you would with an uncoated carbon steel fitting.
Question by: Dustin T on Jul 3, 2025, 10:03 AM
got a tight spot on a hose run, is this the 45 degree elbow that goes from a split flange to a 37° male?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 4, 2025, 9:57 PM
Built as a 45° elbow adapter, it mates a flanged end on one side with an SAE 37° male end on the other. It is meant for routing lines where you need an angled turn without giving up a flanged connection.
