Eaton Aeroquip's FF5539-2424S split flange elbow adapter is suitable for a range of applications including marine, military, chemical processing, pulp and paper, food and beverage, and off-shore drilling environments. Constructed of carbon steel, this adapter features Dura-Kote plating for enhanced corrosion resistance and design flexibility. This is a Flanged /SAE 37° Male 45° Elbow Adapter.

This Danfoss / Eaton Aeroquip FF5539-2424S split flange Code 62 flanged male adapter features a 1 7/8-12 SAE 37 connection. It is certified to SAE J514 standards and designed for higher operating pressures above SAE standards, and has a minimum working temperature of -65 degrees Fahrenheit.

got a tight spot on a hydraulic line. is this one the 45 degree elbow with a Code 62 split flange on one end and a 1 7/8-12 SAE 37 male on the other?

Does this adapter hold up in saltwater or chemical environments, or is it more of a dry-use fitting?

Carbon steel construction with Dura-Kote plating gives it solid corrosion resistance, which is why it shows up in marine, offshore drilling, and chemical processing applications. It's not a bare steel fitting you'd have to baby in tough conditions. The plating is specifically there to handle environments where standard fittings tend to degrade faster.
