trying to swap out an old adapter, is FF5541-2416S the same thing as C1JF29?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 17, 2025, 6:24 PM
For cross referencing, C1JF29 is listed as an alternate part number for the Eaton Aeroquip FF5541-2416S, so they point to the same adapter.
Question by: Danny C on Jul 31, 2025, 9:39 PM
What kind of environments is this adapter actually built to hold up in? Seeing it mentioned for offshore drilling and chemical processing, so I'm guessing it ain't your everyday shop fitting.
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 2, 2025, 6:34 PM
Carbon steel construction with Dura-Kote plating puts it in a different category than standard adapters. That coating is specifically what allows it to hold up against corrosion in harsh, wet, or chemically aggressive conditions. Marine, offshore drilling, chemical processing, pulp and paper, food and beverage all fall within its rated application range, so it's genuinely suited for punishment, not just listed that way for marketing.
