Designed for demanding industrial environments, this carbon steel straight adapter connects a split flange end to an SAE 37° male flare, making it a practical solution for hydraulic systems operating in marine, military, offshore drilling, chemical processing, food and beverage, and pulp and paper applications. The flanged end conforms to Code 62 SAE standards, and the adapter is rated for higher working pressures than standard SAE requirements.

The Danfoss / Eaton ADPT-SPL-FLG-ST-CONN- carries Eaton Aeroquip's Dura-Kote plating, which provides strong corrosion resistance suited to harsh or corrosive service conditions. Certified to SAE J514, it fits within a broad range of Aeroquip adapter configurations and is rated for use down to -40° minimum working temperature. The straight geometry keeps routing straightforward where in-line connections are required.

What kind of corrosion protection does this adapter have? Running equipment in a pretty rough coastal environment and need something that holds up.

Eaton Aeroquip puts a proprietary finish on these called Dura-Kote plating. It's built specifically for harsh and corrosive service conditions, which is why this adapter shows up in marine, offshore drilling, and chemical processing applications. Carbon steel on its own wouldn't cut it in those environments, but the Dura-Kote coating gives it the protection needed to hold up where regular adapters tend to fail early.
