Question by: Freddie R on Oct 17, 2025, 6:22 PM
got a hydraulic setup that sees some nasty weather and road salt, is this kit gonna hold up or rust out quick?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 19, 2025, 6:43 AM
For harsh environments, the Dura-Kote plating is the big benefit here since it is called out for superior corrosion resistance, and the parts are carbon steel underneath.
Question by: Neil M on Nov 30, 2025, 5:35 PM
what's the corrosion resistance like on these fittings? running equipment outdoors and rust has been a real problem with some of the cheaper stuff we've used before
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 2, 2025, 3:05 PM
Carbon steel construction with Dura-Kote plating is what sets these apart from bare steel fittings. That plating is specifically built to hold up against corrosion in demanding conditions, so for outdoor or wet environments where standard fittings tend to rust out early, this is a solid step up from uncoated alternatives.
