Description & Features

Designed for high-temperature vibration isolation in air aspiration applications, the Eaton Hose SiliconeSaeJ20 Red is a four-ply silicone hose rated to a working pressure of 40 PSI and certified to SAE J20. Both the tube and cover are constructed from silicone, with aramid reinforcement providing structural integrity across a wide service range, down to -54°C at the lower end of the temperature spectrum.

The red conductive cover offers premium abrasion resistance and is marked via ink jet lay line for easy identification. A minimum bend radius of 6.5 inches supports flexible routing in tight installations. Part of Eaton Industrial Hose's engineered hose lineup, this product is built to consolidate coverage across multiple fuel options while maintaining proven reliability under sustained thermal stress.

Question by: Freddie Y on Feb 7, 2026, 3:43 PM
What's the lowest temperature this hose can handle without failing?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 9, 2026, 12:14 PM
This hose is good down to -54°C.
Question by: Ronnie C on Jun 9, 2025, 6:13 AM
working on a cooling system that runs real hot and needs some flex built in, does this hose hold up to that kind of setup?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 11, 2025, 6:02 AM
For high-temperature air aspiration work where vibration isolation matters, this hose fits that bill pretty well. The silicone tube and cover handle sustained thermal stress, and the four-ply aramid-reinforced construction keeps things stable even when there's movement or flex in the line. It's rated down to -54°C on the cold end, so temperature swings aren't much of a concern either direction.
