Question by: Brent B on Jul 4, 2025, 2:58 PM
hose says it goes down to -54 degrees, but what's the upper end on temperature? we run coolant lines that get pretty hot and need something that'll hold up through the summer months without getting soft on us
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 6, 2025, 8:42 AM
Silicone tube and cover construction handles high-temperature environments well, which is one of the main reasons this hose gets specified for heavy-duty coolant work. The material holds its shape and flexibility under thermal stress better than rubber alternatives, so heat cycling and sustained high temps are well within its design intent. The 40 PSI working pressure rating applies across that range, so as long as your system stays within that pressure threshold you should be in good shape.
Question by: Lynn S on Jul 29, 2025, 9:40 AM
What kind of temps can this blue hose handle?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 30, 2025, 9:00 PM
This hose offers proven reliability in high-temperature applications, thanks to its silicone construction.
