Question by: Shawn S on Dec 20, 2025, 10:34 AM
part number on my old indicator is worn off, but I cross-referenced it and keep landing on FIW25SW3MS as a match. that the same unit as the FI-W-25S-W3-MS?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 22, 2025, 6:58 AM
Same part, just a formatting difference. FIW25SW3MS drops the hyphens but refers to the exact same Stauff filter indicator. The supplier part number 6010000957 is another reliable way to confirm you've got the right one, and MI-08753737 and MINO-02491X20175 are additional alternate numbers that all point back to this unit.

got a filter setup that takes a Stauff indicator, what does the FI-W-25S-W3-MS actually do?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 18, 2026, 11:53 AM
In a hydraulic system, this indicator is used to monitor differential pressure across a filter element, so you get a clear signal when the element is getting restricted and needs service or replacement.
