got a -8 hose in the shop, is this the right end for it or am i mixing things up
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 20, 2025, 10:43 AM
For hose fit, this one is built around a -8 hose dash size and it’s a 45 degree male O-ring fitting assembly, so it matches a -8 hose setup on that side.
Question by: Stan D on Apr 9, 2025, 10:39 AM
Got a -8 hose I'm trying to fit out and need a 45-degree angle on it. This the right part for that setup?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 11, 2025, 9:43 AM
For a -8 hose dash size with a 45-degree male O-ring connection, yeah, this fitting lines up with that. The male end is 0.625 UNS, so make sure your mating port matches that thread spec before ordering. It's a carbon steel fitting assembly built for industrial hydraulic use, and the short pilot design helps get things seated faster during assembly. If those dimensions check out on your end, you should be in good shape.
