Reckon this fitting'll hold up to some serious vibration in a hydraulic system?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 17, 2026, 7:52 PM
Dura-Kote plating on this Aeroquip fitting provides superior corrosion resistance, which should contribute to a longer lifespan even with vibration. It's system-engineered to extend hose assembly life, but keep in mind that proper installation and system maintenance are always important factors in demanding environments.

trying to match up a crimp fitting i pulled off a -8 hose, is this one the right size on the hose end?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 22, 2026, 6:28 AM
For hose fit, the key callout is the hose dash size. This fitting is made for a -8 hose, so it matches a -8 crimp hose end.
