Question by: Harvey C on Nov 23, 2025, 1:31 PM
Will this fitting hold up if I'm using it for hydraulics on a farm tractor, seein' as how it's gonna be out in the weather?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 25, 2025, 6:50 AM
Dura-Kote plating gives this carbon steel fitting some serious corrosion resistance, so it should last a good while even exposed to the elements.
Question by: Carl F on Sep 12, 2025, 6:30 PM
What kind of corrosion protection does this fitting have? Running equipment outdoors and rust has been a real headache with some of the cheaper fittings we've tried before.
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 14, 2025, 6:09 AM
Carbon steel fittings can be hit or miss in rough conditions, but Eaton Aeroquip puts a Dura-Kote plating on this one specifically to push back against corrosion. It's engineered to extend the overall life of the hose assembly, so it holds up better than uncoated steel fittings in environments where moisture and grime are regular problems.
